FAWAZ AHMED · PRODUCT HUNTING & SOURCING

Your product research worksheet.

Choose one product and one market. Keep evidence, assumptions and unanswered questions separate. Finish with a reasoned next step.

Fill this in on screen or print a blank copy. Entries stay in this tab and are not submitted. Use Print / save PDF to keep your work before closing or refreshing.

01 Define the idea

Be specific about the buyer, the problem and the market.

02 Record demand evidence

A trend or a popular ad is a lead to investigate. Record what each source actually supports.

03 Compare suppliers fairly

Ask both suppliers about the same specification and quantity. Mark each response as quoted, checked or still unknown.

04 Work through the costs

Use one currency and one consistent basis per sale. Label estimates and note their source. Adjust for your market and fulfilment model.

Subtract the costs and target contribution from the expected selling price. Check what changes if costs rise or orders fail.
These fields are a starting structure, not a complete accounting model. Include costs that apply to your situation and avoid counting the same cost twice.

05 Make the decision

06 Set limits before testing

Complete this section only when the required checks support a test.
